LEARN HOW TO PLAY WARHAMMER 40,000!
This will be an afternoon is geared towards people who:
- Have played Space Marine 2 and now want to get into the tabletop game
- have never tried out any miniatures game before
- know a little bit about 40k but have never played a real game of it (or have played older editions but not the current edition)
Our Learn-to-Play 40k events provide the perfect setting for learning how to play Warhammer 40,000!
But it's not just good for absolute beginners: our Learn-to-Play days are also a great way for those people getting *back* into the grimdark forty-first millennium game of 40k!!

BRAND NEW PLAYERS TABLE
We will be teaching the fundamentals and core concepts of 40k Tenth Edition on this afternoon. We'll be supplying everything needed to play a quick game of 40k and will have 2-3 armies worth of models that can be used!
If you are *brand new* to the game and will need models to learn with, be sure to RSVP and let us know so that we can make every effort to accommodate you.

BEGINNER BATTLES TABLE(S)
Whether you've played previous editions and are looking at getting back into 40k, or if you're out of practice and looking to solidify your playing knowledge...or if you just want to get a smaller game of 40k in AND help out mentor new players, you're welcome to participate on this day as well!
Fine Details as to what constitutes a beginner battle on this day:
- Loose time limit of 2 hours.
- Players bring in their own force of no more than 500pts
- Player forces can heroes or squads be worth more than 180 points: this is not a day for heavy-hitting elite squads--we want all the day's games to last long enough for players to actually learn things!
If there are enough participants for the Beginner battle tables, we'll either split the tables in half for two 1vs1 battles OR make the table a 2vs2 (or maybe even 3vs3!) battles.
