The Definitive w/ The Jailbirds & Zoo!

The Definitive is an all Canadian rock band formed in Calgary, Alberta, in 2023. The group's unique blend of Evan Burns’ progressive slap bass lines, Dylan Jones’ classic rock-inspired guitar riffs, Vaughan Xavier’s in-your-face funky drum grooves and the sweet memorable vocal hooks of Duke Domino, has garnered them a reputation for exploring uncharted sonic territory.

Since forming in 2022, the band has cemented their reputation as an incredibly energetic and fresh live act, playing shows and festivals across Central and Western Canada, and sharing the stage with the likes of Our Lady Peace, Headstones, Default, and Trooper. With their second studio release, Horizon’s Edge, The Definitive continue to dive deeper into their sound, exploring new ideas and capitalizing on the magic of those first jam sessions.

The Jailbirds blend hard rock, classic rock, and modern influences to create a powerful, dynamic sound. Drawing from legends like Black Sabbath, Van Halen, and Royal Blood, they deliver raw energy and infectious melodies.

Awarded "Best Rock" at the Mississauga Music Awards in 2018 and "Best Live Band" in 2022, they've earned recognition on Spotify's Hard Rock Playlist and FM radio in Canada and the UK. Having shared stages with Monster Truck and Rival Sons, The Jailbirds are known for their electrifying live shows and uncompromising artistry, cementing their place as a force in the rock scene.

Zoo! a wave-crashing, sun-chasing indie surf rock outfit that bottle the golden-hour glow of the coast into jangly riffs, rolling basslines, and melodies you can’t help but hum barefoot in the sand.
