Tickets: Adults $15, Kids $10, free for 5 years old and under
Presented by EMMEDIA x The Hibernation Project, SONIC SPLASH is an all-ages sound swim featuring a live band, summer snacks and performance art aquasize. Pack your comfiest swim suits and head over to Stanley Park Pool for an ambient float through strange sounds, guided movements, and good ol’ fashioned fun with friends.

This event is open to all. Queer-friendly, all ages, and all bodies! Stanley Park Pool accessibility info can be found here. Kids are welcome and should be accompanied by an adult. About the Artists
Wayne Patrick Garrett is a musician, artist, and composer whose instrumental music weaves worlds of atmospheric fantasy. His debut album ‘Marine Life' is an exploration of the pedal steel guitar as a means of conjuring dreamy soundscapes and expressing abstract emotions, inviting the listener to get lost in expansive sonic environments. Wayne has been dreaming of a pool party & sound float since releasing the album in late 2024.
The Hibernation Project is an experimental art series organized by Caitlind r.c. Brown & Wayne Garrett, usually during the deepest, darkest days of Winter. Highly collaborative, site-responsive, and ever-changing, The Hibernation Project expanded in recent years to include EARS HAVE EYES (a monthly sound art radio), IDLE WORSHIP (a mobile car-based exhibition), and whatever else the artists find exciting ~ including this rad Summer collab with EMMEDIA!
