Event Description
Goalie Palooza...has evolved into Proskate Palooza! Our massive goalie/hockey equipment demo event and expo is set to be our biggest and best yet, with the introduction of a hockey player portion of the event. This years' Palooza event will be held at Winsport, with a new display floor for all of our included vendors and related brand partners. We will be set up on an entire covered ice surface to allow more space for vendors and attendees to comfortably interact and chat with reps from the brands in attendance. From 10:00am-4:00pm, two ice surfaces are available for goalies and players who purchase an event ticket to test the latest technology in goalie and player equipment, sticks and skates. Bauer, CCM, True, Brian’s, Warrior (player) and Sherwood will all be in attendance with full demo fleets of their newest equipment, sticks and skates.
In addition to equipment, some of the top goalie coaches from Western Canada will be available to answer any and all questions you have about goaltending. We will also have our selected brand partners included this year, P2P Agency, Studio Beuksy, Eye2Eye, Crash Conditioning, Qwench, Boshi Hats. Special guests will also be in attendance, Nick the Goalie...and maybe some surprise guests TBA as the event gets closer.
New this year is PaloozaPrizes, door crasher prizes for those attending Proskate Palooza.
There are 2 different types of tickets: VIP and General
VIP ticket holders will get 2 full hours of ice, shared by a limited number of other participants to truly get the full, dynamic experience of Palooza. Additionally, you will receive a swag-bag full of hockey merch and accessories valued at over $200.00. VIP check-in for the event is 9:30AM.
GENERAL admission, at a far lower price point, will book in for a 1-hour time slot, which will be capped at 30 participants. Participants can book as many tickets as they’d like, if they require more on-ice time.
Lastly, for those who are attending the event with their child, spouse, family member etc there is no charge.
- All active participants must have purchased a ticket prior to the event to be permitted on the ice. Any paid underage participants can be accompanied by an adult on the vendor floor/dressing rooms and can watch the participants from OUTSIDE THE RINK BOARDS ONLY.
- All active participants/consenting adult must agree to the Waiver and Release of Liability within the ticket purchase process.
- All active GOALIE participants MUST BRING their own gear, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF pads and gloves, to be worn on the ice during the demo. - There will NOT be demo gear available besides pads and gloves at the event, with the exception of potential samples of skates or sticks from some brands.
- Participants will not be allowed entry to the event floor until 30 MINUTES PRIOR to their scheduled ice slot. More details will be available in your ticket's description.
- Participants who wish to stay for more than 1 hour MUST HAVE PURCHASED an additional ticket from the successive group, i.e Group 2 and Group 3. Otherwise, all participants must leave the event/dressing room after their allotted time on ice ends to make room for the following group.
