Calgary’s First Muslim Flea Market!
Friday, August 8th | 12:00 PM - until it winds down � Akram Jomaa Soccer Field – 2624 39 Ave NE, Calgary, AB
This is NOT a bazaar. This is a used-items-only community flea market created to help our Muslim community rethink consumption, reduce waste, and push back against overconsumption.
Come set up your table and share gently used items from your home — just like a garage sale!
Vendor Details:
-$20 per table
-One table per person or group
-Register individually or as a group (just one sign-up needed per table)
-No minimum on how many items you bring
-Accepted payment methods are up to you — bring cash, accept e-transfers, or use a payment app of your choice! Just make sure your info is easy for buyers to access.
What You Can Sell:
-Used clothes (men’s, women’s, children’s)
-Toys, books, home decor, Islamic items, traditional wear
-Modest, clean, gently used items only
What You Cannot Sell:
-No new items
-No food or drinks
-No small businesses, brands, or promo booths
This is about reusing what we already have — not reselling for profit.
Set-Up Info:
- Set-Up: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Market Opens: 12:00 PM – until it winds down
-You must bring in, manage, and take out your own items
-We provide the field and a limited number of tables/racks
-You’re welcome to bring your own clothing rack or setup!
Note: Jummah parking gets full — arrive early to avoid the rush!
Open to everyone — brothers, sisters, kids, and families welcome to shop!
