ABOUT RAY
Ray Gomez is a professional dancer and Latin rhythm instructor from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He began his dance journey at the age of 11, training in Son and K-ché under the guidance of maestro Salvador Jasso.
Ray has graced some of the most prestigious stages in Mexico as a soloist and has performed alongside acclaimed artists such as Ernesto López, Enrique Jarquin, and Gabriela Equiz. His competitive accomplishments include first place at Mi Swing 2019, second place at Fusión Salsa Fest 2021, multiple podium finishes at the Guanajuato Salsa Congress 2022, and second place in the Mi Swing mambo category.
A sought-after instructor, Ray regularly teaches workshops at major national congresses and dance festivals including Fusión Salsa Fest, Oaxaca Paramount, Bachata y Cultura Festival, Olimpo Shines Battle, Bakanisima Festival, Mi Swing Festival, and many more.
He is the founder and director of The Latin Warriors and Dancer’s House, both of which have earned numerous international accolades. Through these projects, Ray has cultivated a signature style known for its energy, creativity, and authenticity.
Currently, he leads La Tribu—a community-centered initiative that blends dance instruction with vibrant social events, continuing his mission to share Latin dance culture with passion and purpose.
