Helicopter Weekend

The helicopters in our collection deserve a moment to shine. This year we're celebrating all things helicopter at the end of June. Thanks to support from Nav Canada, LR Helicopters will be offering helicopter city tours. These are a great way to get a different view of Calgary, and explore the city from this vantage point for the first time. Tickets for the tours are $95 each, and will be available first come first serve at the event. This experience will be weather dependant.

We will also have our Sikorsky Dragonfly open for visitors to sit inside (closed-toe shoes required for entry). Volunteers and expert staff will be stationed at the helicopters in our collection to tell you about these aircraft and the pilots who flew them. We'll also have a helicopter themed craft that you can build and then take home.

Tickets for museum entry are available online and at the door. Tickets for the helicopter rides will be available directly from LR Helicopters and are available during the event only.
