After the amazing turnout to the July embroidery class, I'm lucky enough to be able to teach again! This time it's a two week course, with the first session being the embroidery, and the next where I will teach you to hand sew the fabric together to make a coin purse ☺️ the fabric we will be embroidering on will be from the lovely Sarah's Weaving Shed ☺️
The classes will be on the 16th and 23rd August, from 10am - 12pm at the Calgary Cafe. The full course will be £40, and you'll walk away with a gorgeous hand embroidered coin purse with some amazing hand woven fabric by Sarah!
I have taught all sorts of classes and techniques, but this class will cover the basic stitches and we will then choose some simple designs and transfer them onto the fabric. From there, I will show you how to complete your chosen design, stitch in the ends and finish it off! The second part of the class will go over hand sewing techniques, sewing on buttons and marvelling at our finished creations!

- I've never been crafty, can I still go?
- Yes! I teach all abilities, everyone who's come to my classes has walked away with a new skill and a completed piece of embroidery! (check out Google reviews @jaspersco)
- Can I bring young ones?
- Yes! All I ask is that they need to be kept an eye on as the needles we use are still sharp! My reccomendation is 10+, but you know your child best!
