Adventure Calgary invites you to an evening where rustic charm meets vintage glam at the Dust & Diamonds Grand Social Mixer, happening Wednesday, July 30th at Heliopolis Cafe. Whether you show up sparkling in sequins or dusted in denim, you’re part of the story—and this is your invitation to join a crowd that knows how to make a night unforgettable.
To keep things fun and effortless, we’ll be playing a light-hearted 1930s-themed game called “Whispers & Whispers.” It’s simple: every guest receives a card with a secret challenge—something easy and discreet like “find someone wearing boots,” “compliment a stranger’s outfit,” or “ask someone if they’ve ever driven a tractor.” Complete the task during the evening without being noticed, and then try to guess who’s completing theirs around you. It’s low-pressure, non-performative, and designed to get you smiling, moving, and talking—no acting or awkwardness required.
Expect warm conversations, great music, and a space buzzing with curiosity, laughter, and that signature Calgary charm. Come solo or bring a friend, but arrive ready to relax, connect, and enjoy a mixer that trades stiff networking for something far more genuine.
