From century homes and farmhouses to brothels and BnBs, learn the history of some of the earliest homes and residents of the colourful community of Crescent Heights. The walk will follow another Jane's Walk - the opening of the Rotary Park Mini Galleries show "Gone Forever". Crescent Heights artist Jackie Ramsey will do a talk and tour featuring six houses that she painted as part of her “100 Storeys” project before they were demolished.
WALK NOTES: uneven terrain.
MEETING SPOT: Rotary Park @ 4th Ave and 1st St NE. Meet at the viewpoint near the top of the stairs that come up from Centre Street.
WALK LEADER: Isabelle Jankovic, a member of the Crescent Heights Heritage Committee and a long-time resident of Crescent Heights.
