Calgary Songsmith's August Session

Once again the 3rd Tuesday of the month is upon us, which means it's time to learn something new and interact with both up-and-coming and established songwriters and artists alike at Canada's largest independent songwriter group: The Calgary Songsmiths! Join us at Calgary's Best Kept Secret for original music!

Topic (7 PM): The Calgary Songsmiths continue in August w/ multi-award winner Joni Delaurier for Part 2 of our Summer School series. Diving even deeper into some of the finer points of the songwriting craft with one of Calgary's best. Don't miss it!

Open Mic (Around 7:30 PM): Stick around for our one-song-each open mic and share your latest original tune. First come, first serve.

Last session we learned about writing a rock solid pre-chorus! Sing us your latest song using the Songsmith Joni's pre-chorus principles...and be the toast of songwriting town! See you on the 19th! :)
