Welcome back, international instructor Ray Gomez, joining us once again all the way from Mexico!
Ray Gomez has become part of our Montuno Family, and it’s now a tradition to welcome him back every year, bringing his experience, sabor, and warm personality to our scene. This time, he is bringing something new!
Ray will be teaching a 2-hour Boogaloo Mambo Workshop Challenge, designed for dancers who want to level up their mambo by adding boogaloo fusion. This workshop is perfect for those who want to explore this style, train with Ray, and share the experience with fellow local dancers.
After the workshop, we’ll host an additional 30-minute guided practice session to fine-tune what you’ve learned and prepare to showcase it later that night at our Candela Nights Dance Social.
For those who don’t know Ray:
Ray Gomez is a highly respected and well-known dance instructor in Mexico, travelling across the country to teach workshops and participate in major congresses. He has collaborated with top artists in the industry, including Jorge Martinez, Adolfo Indacochea, Ivan Valdespino, and many others.
Based in Celaya, Ray runs his own dance studio, where he has played a key role in growing the Latin dancing community, offering classes, workshops, festivals, and socials.
