2-Day IPHCPR Annual Scientific Meeting & Decolonizing Health Care Congress

This joint gathering begins with the IPHCPR’s Annual Scientific Meeting on Day 1 (June 19), followed by the 2nd Annual Decolonizing Health Care Congress on Day 2 (June 20).
The event brings together researchers, health system actors, decision-makers, service providers, and trainees to share knowledge, reflect on progress, and co-create future directions for Indigenous primary health care and Indigenous approaches to learning health systems (LHS).

We welcome submissions from researchers, community partners, health professionals, trainees, and others advancing Indigenous health and health systems transformation. Awards will be given for outstanding student presentations in both oral and poster categories.

Day 1 – IPHCPR Annual Scientific Meeting (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Opening, keynote, and panel discussion
• Morning and midday research presentations
• Afternoon poster session, plenary, and thematic workshops
• Networking throughout the day

Day 2 – Decolonizing Health Care Congress (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Themed around Learning Health Systems (LHS) for Indigenous health equity:

• Keynote
• Deep dives into LHS frameworks relevant to Indigenous primary health care
• Small group discussions around readiness and implementation
• Group synthesis and agenda-setting

Registrants will receive access ahead of the event to a special podcast series exploring justice, equity, and global Indigenous perspectives in Learning Health Systems.
