The Gard at Aptucxet Trading Post

Join the Gard at the historic Aptucxet Trading Post where we will be portraying an event that took place there in June of 1637, when Plymouth Colony was called upon by the Mass Bay and Connecticut colonies to defend the colonists in Connecticut against the Pequots. We mustered at Aptucxet and drilled while waiting for a ship from Mass Bay to transport the men. The conflict was over before the ship sailed, and thus the Plymouth Colony avoided the conflict.
