During the day, we'll have drop in art activities at our base:
~ make your own wildlife book and set out to write, draw, trace shadows, rub leaves: build your own record of a summer's day in the hills
~ looking at plants: the shapes of leaves and stalks and pets, the pattern of grass blades and fern fronds
~ sunshine permitting you could make your own lightpaper(cyanotype) picture
~ or if like something messier, we'll be printing using those leaves and the likes in different colours
Using natural material: we'll collect a safe selection of plant material at the start of the day: avoiding picking flowers and disturbing animals but there will be enough for activities
Facilities: be warned! there are no toilets on site
Tickets: this event is free and materials are provided
We may need to book places on Steve's walks: details will follow. Otherwise, just drop by and join in
