Two consecutive walks
First walk (Cavenham Heath): 6.45pm-8pm
An evening visit to see some of Breckland’s special breeding birds. We will look for Stone Curlew and Woodlark with Spotted Flycatcher and Yellow Wagtail also possible.

Drive from Icklingham to Mayday Farm, Thetford Forest: 15 miles / 23 mins
Second walk (Mayday Farm): 8.45-10.45pm
We will move deep into Thetford Forest near Mayday Farm where we have had in the past a very good success rate for seeing Nightjar. Other species that we might encounter include Woodcock (roding), Tree Pipit and possibly Long-eared Owl. Four species of deer are present in the forest with Roe and Muntjac the most likely to see.
