You are invited to come along and try out the latest equipment and technology which is specifically designed for people with a visual impairment.
We will be joined by some of the UK’s leading suppliers who will provide live demonstrations of magnifiers screen readers daily living aids and lamps. You can experience first-hand how these tools can enhance your independence.
Local organisations attending on the day include: Newmedica Sensing Change SNEE Diabetic Eye Screening Programme Patient Experience team from West Suffolk Hospital and Bury St Edmunds Library.
The event is suitable if you have a visual impairment yourself, are a family member, carer or friend of someone with sight loss, or are a low vision specialist.
This is a free event, and the venue is fully accessible
