High Country Recovering Forward: Outdoor Communities & Public Land Managers

Brought to you by USFS and WNC MADE X MTNS Partnership, this workshop is designed to promote alignment and understanding surrounding the current status of public lands in WNC's High Country Region, as well as and how communities can accurately promote outdoor recreation to visitors and residents during this season of rebuilding and recovery.

Attendees will benefit from:

• Status updates from NC Wildlife Resources Commission, United States Forest Service, and additional partners-- plus time for Q&A!

• Conversations about ways that communities and businesses can be valuable partners in sustaining and marketing outdoor spaces for the 2025 season
• Opportunities to share-out best practices, challenges, or opportunities in the post-Helene landscape with other stakeholders in WNC's outdoor community
