Healing Minds, Hearts, and Hands

The Somerset Junior Woman’s Club knows the importance of resting our minds and hearts while lending our hands to support those in need. We invite everyone to join us at Firebrook Community Park on Thursday, May 29th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM for “Healing Minds, Hearts, and Hands!”

Dealing with a disaster is difficult on all of us, but we are especially concerned for our community’s children and teens who have lost their homes, belongings, or their safe places or those who might be experiencing stress or fear that something else might happen. And, we also want to give some respite to the grownups, including the first responders and volunteers, who have had to be strong.

🚩So far, we plan to have food, an inflatable, a dunk tank, children’s games, activities for teens, community resources, cotton candy, popcorn, and more… ALL FREE!! 🚩

We will also be accepting relief supplies for the families and businesses affected by the tornado.
