What do our spiritual traditions say about the wisdom of water and trees?
WHAT: Come out to a day of sharing teachings from different spiritual traditions. You are invited but not required to bring a reflection, poem, song etc. exploring trees & water from your own spiritual tradition, and share why this is important to you. Lunch will be provided.
WHERE: Watch House on Burnaby Mountain: Forest Grove Park - 8505 Forest Grove Dr, Burnaby.

Walk up hill through park to TransCanada Trail (about 5 minute walk - easy trail).
When you reach the trail, you will see the Watch House on your left.
Hosted by Prayer Circle DirectAction Group -an informal multi-faith group that meets monthly outside the Watch House on Burnaby Mountain as spiritual community, and a point of connection with our Indigenous allies in our ongoing efforts to collectively protect the land, water and air.
And Salal + Cedar Watershed Discipleship Community -we worship out of doors and equip Christians to respond faithfully to climate crisis.
Part 2- SAVE THE DATE: Sat. October 25th, 1 - 4pm: Join together to do some native plantings around the Watch House. Food will be provided.
