Metropolis at Metrotown: Mother’s Day Glampsite Party

Returning for a second year in a row is Metropolis at Metrotown’s beloved “We Love Moms & Mother Nature” event! 

On May 10th from 12 - 2pm BC’s largest shopping centre encourages moms to let loose at a party in their honour. Mothers work hard every day of the year – on Saturday May 10 they can play! The Met invites guests of all ages to celebrate Mother Nature and the mother figures in their life at the Met’s Grand Court which will be transformed into an epic indoor “glampsite” supported by Decathlon.

The ticketed event is a midday fête with plenty of amusements including a DIY s’mores station woodland photo opportunities kid-friendly craftmaking and live music. Each adult ticket will get to take away a gift bag that includes a $20 Met gift card. Tickets also allow for one complimentary beverage - options include: wine cocktails mocktails or fruit punch. Light canapés and sweets will be served alongside. Be sure to arrive on time to snag a door prize!

Whether you’re bringing a fellow mom to kick back and relax or the entire family to enjoy the party the Met’s “We Love Moms & Mother Nature” event is the perfect place to discover the great outdoors… indoors. 

Tickets are available online at the Metropolis at Metrotown website and cost $40 per adult and $5 for kids aged 5-15 years; kids 4 and under are free to enter. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Burnaby Family Life’s Women Driving Their Future program.
