Martial Arts Workshop for Youth and Families - Aikido and the Path of Harmony

Introductory Workshop for Youth ages 7-12 and parents. Discover the dynamic, flowing martial art of aikido and learn how aikido teaches kids how to become centered, resilient and focused. The circular, non-competitive movements emphasizes throwing and pinning movements instead of strikes and kicks. Classes provide a balance between focused training and games that teach the principles of aikido in a playful and joyous manner. Inclusive classes, gender neutral bathrooms/changing room, and scholarships for youth ages 7-12 and 13-17. Ask about family rates. Adult/teen workshop at 1:30pm on Saturday. Visitors are always welcome!
