Caregiver Support Group

Join us on Saturday, August 16th , for the first meeting of our new Caregiver Support Group! This group is geared towards community members who are primary caregivers for loved ones and offers people a safe, supportive environment to discuss the challenges associated with caregiving.

Possible topics of discussion include food resources, transportation options, friendly visitor programs, caring for pets, caring for yourself, how to talk to your loved one’s medical team, and how to cope with aggressive or out-of-control behavior.

Our first meeting will be set up to hear from you, we will discuss what our goals and expectations will be for the group. Future meetings will feature guest speakers who will bring fresh perspectives on caregiving. No registration is required to attend.
