MEETING SPOT: Jenny Dixon Reserve. Grassed area next to carpark. Please ensure you are here before start time, as we leave on time.
ALTERNATE MEET SPOT FOR SHORTER WALK: Mazlin Reserve, Bungarry Rd. Parking in front of public facilities 745am
PARKING: Carpark at Jenny Dixon Reserve, Park St, off Bungary Rd.
DIFFICULTY: Moderate. Lots of different surfaces. Road, path, bush track.
DISTANCE: 4-6kms depending on route.
PACE: Moderate.
ACCESSIBIITY: Not suitable for prams/scooters or people with mobility issues..
WALK INFO: There are a couple of different routes we can do but no matter which way we go there will be beautiful views, good friends, lots of fun. If the season is right you may even spot a whale. Most routes are circuitous, so it is not always possible to pick people up on the way back. The host will do an overview of the walk before the walk commences.
FACILITIES: Toilets, seats, water and bins at meeting point. Please check with leader regarding what is available during walk. There are dog friendly cafes at Norah Head and other activities available. The regulars will help you out if you want to spend some time in this lovely area.
All dogs are welcome, but must be on leash - please no retractables.
Treats are fine for your own dog, but we ask that you do not treat other dogs, due to medical and aggression issues with some dogs.
