You are invited to celebrate the life of Robert George Saxton by participating in Tamar Lakes Parkrun on Saturday 25th October, 9am start, but get there earlier to soak up the atmosphere on the day.
Rob touched so many peoples lives in so many different ways and he’d have loved to see a huge group of us taking part of one of his favourite activities together.
He ran Parkrun a total of 64 times (60 at Tamar Lakes) and had a PB of 20 minutes and 5 seconds.
Parkrun isn’t about the times though, it’s about the participation. You can jog, walk or even just volunteer to take part.
If you haven’t done one before please sign up on the main Parkrun page then just screenshot the barcode they allocate you and bring your phone with you on the day.

If you don’t fancy jogging or walking the 5km, you can just spectate, or you can get involved by emailing to join the volunteer roster for the day, details on the link below.

Let’s make this huge, if you are the slightest bit tempted to come along please do so and invite anyone that knew him to this event, especially anyone that’s not on Facebook and won’t have seen this.
There is no official necessary dress code for this event but please feel free to wear anything that reminds you of Rob if you like. Fancy dress, a 7up t-shirt, a favourite running top, etc etc
