Jean Rhys - An exploration with Poppy Wonnacott
Join Friend of the Bude Literary Festival, Poppy Wonnacott for an exploratory talk on Jean Rhys, who wrote 'Wide Sargasso Sea', the postcolonial prequel to 'Jane Eyre', whilst living in Bude. Hear Poppy delve into Jean's life, her connection to Bude and the themes of madness and belonging in her short masterpiece.
