How does the landscape that we reside in shape our feelings, actions, beliefs and the stories that we tell? Three authors discuss…
* Ronnie Turner (author of So Pretty and Small Fires)
* Jade Angeles Fitton (author of Hermit)
* Sam K. Horton (author of Gorse and Ragwort)
Join us at the Falcon Hotel on Friday 7th November for an evening with three authors writing across different genres but who each interact with the landscape as a living entity, with the power to shape, mould and forge the paths of its inhabitants.
We’ll be exploring the influence of landscape on their own writing, looking at the folklore, beliefs and superstition that has come out of this place in the world, and how that in turn has impacted history.
* Where: The Acland Suite, The Falcon Hotel, Bude, Cornwall, EX23 8SD
* When: 7pm on Friday 7th November 2025
* Tickets: £5.00; available in store at Spencer Thorn or at
