Wagner: A nürnbergi mesterdalnokok

Wagner a Ring második és harmadik darabjának komponálása között, a Trisztán és Izolda után írta meg életműve egyetlen vígoperáját, A nürnbergi mesterdalnokokat. A középkori témájú mű persze sokkal több szokványos vígoperánál: életfilozófiát közvetít és a zeneszerző esztétikai elveinek foglalata. A Budapesti Wagner-napok nagy sikerű produkciója 2025-ben ismét látható és hallható Fischer Ádám vezényletével, olyan énekesek közreműködésével, mint a népszerű Magnus Vigilius Walther von Stolzingként, a produkció bravúros Beckmessere, Bo Skovhus, az Évaként színpadra lépő Pasztircsák Polina, a Pognert megformáló Bretz Gábor és a Dávidot alakító Cornel Frey. Az előadás sikeréhez a Magyar Rádió Szimfonikus Zenekara és Énekkara (karigazgató: Pad Zoltán), illetve Magyar Nemzeti Férfikara (karigazgató: Riederauer Richárd) járul hozzá.

It was between composing the first and second parts of the Ring cycle and after completing Tristan und Isolde that Wagner wrote his sole comic opera. With its medieval setting, of course, this work goes far beyond a typical comic opera: it conveys a philosophy of life married to the composer’s own aesthetic principles. Returning to conduct this highly acclaimed Budapest Wagner Days production in 2025 will be Ádám Fischer, this time with the popular Magnus Vigilius as Walther von Stolzing, its amazing veteran Beckmesser, Bo Skovhus, Polina Pasztircsák as Eva, Gábor Bretz as Pogner and Cornel Frey as David. The Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and Choir, and the Hungarian National Men's Choir (choir director: Richárd Riederauer) contributes to the success of the performance.
