Dear all,
I’m Hami a qigong teacher. Its been a few years since qigong has appeared in my life.
During this time, I was fortunate to be able to learn from Dennis Wang from Singapore, Mihály Vadas, and to complete online courses with Mimi Kuodeemer.
What is qigong?
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is a traditional Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breathing techniques, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy, known as "qi" (or "chi").
What are the benefits of qigong?
🌿 Physical Benefits

* The slow, controlled movements enhance body awareness and stability, especially helpful for older adults.
2. Increased flexibility and mobility
* Gentle stretching improves joint range of motion and reduces stiffness.
3. Better posture and alignment
* Many Qigong forms emphasize spinal alignment and relaxed posture.
4. Boosted immune function
* Some studies suggest regular practice can help regulate immune response and lower inflammation.
5. Enhanced circulation and energy flow
* Movements are designed to stimulate the flow of blood and "qi" (vital energy) throughout the body.
🧠 Mental and Emotional Benefits

* Deep breathing and meditative focus calm the nervous system and reduce cortisol levels.
