Karzatkoncert - orgonahang új dimenzióban

Száz hangszeren egy ember játszik: mi az? Az orgona az egyik legsokoldalúbb instrumentum, amely a Müpa Karzatkoncertek sorozatában most új megvilágításba kerül – szó szerint és átvitt értelemben is. A többnyire a fejünk fölött függő hangvető leereszkedik, a karzatokon helyet foglaló közönség számára pedig páratlan akusztikai élmény kínálkozik, mindez az orgonarepertoár kiemelkedő darabjaival.
A billentyűs régizene előadói praxisának tudós kutatója és elkötelezett művelője, a Debreceni Egyetem Zeneművészeti Karán docensként oktató Jakab Hedvig az orgonairodalom négy évszázadának kincseiből kínál pazar válogatást a kora barokktól napjainkig, a d-moll toccata és fúgával természetesen Bach életművét is megidézve.

One hundred instruments played by a single person: what is this all about? The organ is one of the most multifaceted instruments in existence. Now, in the Gallery Concerts series, it will be placed in a new light, both literally and figuratively. After the canopy above our heads descends, the audience in the gallery will enjoy an unparalleled acoustic experience as they listen to pieces from the organ repertoire that could almost be considered smash hits.
The academic researcher and dedicated performer of early keyboard music Hedvig Jakab, who teaches as an associate professor at the Faculty of Music of the University of Debrecen, will offer us a sumptuous selection of the treasures of four centuries of organ literature from the early Baroque to the present day, naturally with a taste of Bach’s oeuvre as well, with the Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
