Challacombe Chronicled walking performance

Experience Dartmoor’s rich history and landscapes through the power of poetry and dance.

Challacombe Chronicled sees Devon’s award-winning company Richard Chappell Dance and leading South West poet Saili Katebe explore themes of care, renewal and resistance, to weave together the ecological and cultural significance of Challacombe Farm and its surrounding moorland.

This unique walking performance at Challacombe Farm on Sunday 29 June sees Richard Chappell Dance, Saili Katebe and members of a local community cast guide audiences through this historically significant site. Merging the lines between dance show and poetry recital, the performance embraces the sensitivity of what can be evoked through movement and what is expressed through words.
