Filtrack is a techno DJ, producer, and founder of FILTRAX, based in Bucharest. Known for his raw, stripped-down grooves with a captivating mix of funk and darkness, he is the most prolific artist on Berlin’s renowned BCCO label. His music has also been featured on acclaimed imprints like Tronic and AnalyticTrail, highlighting his versatility and innovative approach to underground techno.
In 2024, Filtrack launched FILTRAX, a platform for his boundary-pushing productions and a space for both emerging and established artists who share his passion for groovy, minimalist sounds. Inspired by artists like Chlar, Alarico, and Yanamaste, his style combines hypnotic energy and raw authenticity, creating tracks and sets that captivate dance floors worldwide.
Driven by a commitment to the underground spirit of techno, Filtrack continues to push creative boundaries, whether in the studio, behind the decks, or curating his label’s forward-thinking vision.
Michael Ius is a Romanian classical music guitarist who later transitioned into techno, showcasing his versatility as an artist.He graduated from the George Enescu Music High School, followed by the Music University in Bucharest, where he specialized in classical guitar.Being a live sound engineer for bands and a pop music producer, Michael was always drawn to the technical side of music. In 2012, when he discovered techno, it was an instant connection.In 2020, Michael began searching for a distinctive sound he genuinely enjoyed producing, one that resonated with him personally. After three and a half years of experimentation and development, he finally found it.Consistently producing in his refined style, he started receiving support from prominent underground artists and labels, leading to releases on “WSNWGBTZ”, “Maloer Records”, “OUT OF PLACE”, “SYXT”, “Duplicity”, and more, as well as his own “IUS” series on Bandcamp.
His music is supported by artists such as Rødhad, MARRØN, Lobster, Lindsey Herbert, Grace Dahl, and many more. It has been played at iconic venues like Stone Techno, Boiler Room, Berghain, Tresor, and on stages across the globe.

I am a techno DJ based in Bucharest, driven by an intense passion for sound and a deep obsession with rhythm. My sets live in the space between hypnotic textures, hardgroove energy, and fast, rolling momentum, built to lock people in and keep them moving.Music has always been more than a passion for me. It’s something I approach with discipline, curiosity, and love. I spend hours digging for the right tracks, experimenting with transitions, and shaping each set with care and intention.
