Bibliophilos

What is bibliophilos? For us, it is a time to gather in God’s presence for learning and friendship. In Greek, Biblio is a word-forming element meaning book, or sometimes Bible. Philos is an adjective for beloved, is related to the Greek verb "phileó", and is used to express a type of love characterized by friendship, thus bibliophilos! On these mornings we will “practice resurrection”, opening space for hope and new life in our faith journey. On the first Friday, May 23rd, I will lead a devotion. As we meet, we will discern how to use this time. Come as you are able! Stay as you can! Are you new to Christ Lutheran ministries? Come and see! There is a place for you here.
