PSYCHO (1960)

“A boy’s best friend is his mother.” Stop in at the Bates Motel, where friendly clerk Norman (Anthony Perkins) will show off his taxidermy collection and regale you with charming family anecdotes. And before you turn in, relax with a nice hot shower. A revolution in style, structure, and subject matter, PSYCHO marked a turning point for suspense cinema.

The screening on Tuesday, July 22, is presented in conjunction with a Cinema Classics Seminar taught by Elizabeth Nathanson, Ph.D.
