The Seasonal Table: Chef John Sundstrom

The Seasonal Table is our new four-part dinner series celebrating the incredible food grown right here in our region. This time, we’re celebrating with a James Beard Award-winning chef who has mastered the art of Northwest cooking.

John Sundstrom has spent decades mastering the art of Northwest cooking. This James Beard Award winner is known for his intimate knowledge of our region’s unique ingredients and his ability to make them shine.

At Cora Pizza & Plates, John creates refined Italian food that celebrates local bounty. He sources custom wheat milled by Smalls Family Farms and grains from Bluebird Grain Farms. He’s also the chef behind the acclaimed Lark restaurant, where his cuisine earned him the James Beard Award for “Best Chef, Northwest” in 2007.
