The Seasonal Table: Taurus Ox

The Seasonal Table is our new four-part dinner series celebrating the incredible food grown right here in our region.

Taurus Ox brings the bold, vibrant flavors of Laos to Seattle through a team of three chef-owners with strong Seattle restaurant experience and a deep commitment to authentic Lao cuisine. This chef-owned restaurant combines world-class technique with traditional family recipes passed down through generations.

What makes Taurus Ox special is their approach to ingredients. They utilize produce from local farms and take a whole-animal approach to butchery, honoring both Lao traditions and Pacific Northwest abundance. The team started by perfecting traditional Lao sausage made from family recipes, then expanded to create a full menu that celebrates the bold, herbaceous flavors of Laotian cuisine.
