Brussels-based artist Scylla is the type of rapper who opts for finesse rather than brutality, piano accompaniment rather than trap beats and moving lyrics rather than dissing others. For the 20th anniversary of his successful career, he surprises the audience with a brand-new artistic direction: together with the Belgian National Orchestra, he wraps his best-known songs in an unprecedented orchestral format. Standing in front of a symphonic orchestra of 80 musicians, few rappers have done it before him. The strings follow his flow and the brass add power to his poetry. The result is a unique moment between two musical worlds. Extremes find each other where their borders blur.

Pour célébrer les vingt ans de sa carrière, il réserve une belle surprise à son public avec une nouvelle approche artistique : en collaboration avec le Belgian National Orchestra, il habille ses titres les plus emblématiques d’un écrin orchestral inédit. Peu de rappeurs ont eu l’audace de monter sur scène aux côtés d’un orchestre symphonique de 80 musiciens. Les cordes suivent son flow avec élégance, tandis que les cuivres viennent ajouter une dimension nouvelle à sa poésie. Le résultat ? Un moment unique à la croisée de deux univers musicaux. Les extrêmes se retrouvent là où la frontière s'estompe.

Voor de twintigste verjaardag van zijn succesvolle carrière verrast hij ons met een gloednieuwe artistieke richting: samen met het Belgian National Orchestra wikkelt hij zijn bekendste nummers in een ongehoord orkestraal jasje. Voor een symfonisch orkest van 80 muzikanten staan, weinig rappers hebben het hem voorgedaan. De strijkers volgen zijn flow en de blazers geven zijn poëzie extra cachet. Het resultaat is een uniek moment tussen twee muzikale werelden. Extremen vinden elkaar daar waar de grens vervaagt.
