Né dans l'effervescence indie de Seattle, Deep Sea Diver est le projet de Jessica Dobson, guitariste virtuose (connue pour son passage chez The Shins) et songwriter au talent rare. Avec son groupe, elle tisse une pop rock nerveuse et élégante, portée par une voix vibrante et des guitares acérées. Avec Billboard Heart, un quatrième album lumineux, sorti en 2025, qui mêle indie rock, pop éclatante et expérimentations audacieuses, le groupe signe ici son disque le plus personnel et vibrant, à la croisée de St. Vincent, TV on the Radio et Flock of Dimes. Porté par des lignes de basse puissantes, des guitares fougueuses et une voix magnétique, Billboard Heart célèbre l’instinct et la renaissance artistique. Un nouveau chapitre immanquable pour les fans de Momma, Bartees Strange ou Hamilton Leithauser.

Deep Sea Diver, geboren in het bruisende indiegebied van Seattle, is het project van songwriter Jessica Dobson, virtuoos gitariste die je waarschijnlijk best kent van haar tijd bij The Shins. Met haar band weeft ze scherpe, elegante poprock, gedragen door een levendige stem en scherpe gitaren.
Met ‘Billboard Heart’, hun vierde album dat eerder dit jaar verscheen en dat indierock, heldere pop en gedurfde experimenten mengt, heeft de band hun meest persoonlijke en levendige plaat gemaakt, een kruising tussen St. Vincent, TV on the Radio en Flock of Dimes. Gedreven door krachtige baslijnen, vurige gitaren en magnetische zang, viert ‘Billboard Heart’ instinct en artistieke wedergeboorte.
