Evening Kayaking Tour: Wildlife & Waves

Enjoy paddling during a cooler and quieter time of day and experience the scenic beauty and wildlife of the evening river. This trip is guided.

The evening is the perfect time to witness great blue herons, egrets, kingfishers, and the occasional eagle on the river. Kayaking this beautiful section of the Potomac River is a favorite thing to do in the Harpers Ferry area! Paddlers will navigate mellow water stretches interspersed with three sets of mild rapids, the last being a Class II+ with wavy rapid fun!

You must be able to walk down a steep hill at the beginning of the trip and assist with carrying gear down the hill.
