Come and join us for a special 'one night only' evening celebrating filmmaking, wearable art, music, community and culture that explores methodology and philosophy around the core theme of - Preparing our children and young people for an uncertain future.
Creative Mullum has teamed up with the Infinite Game and Shearwater Steiner to deliver an evening of exploration, education and learning through art and art makers.
The night will include a pre-screening of multi award winning documentary - The Infinite Game by Jane Hanckel. The film is an inspiring feature length social impact documentary exploring solutions that exist across the world that are helping children prepare for an uncertain future. It follows three exceptional children on the threshold of adolescence, through their resilience, courage along with the visionary educators who are working to support children in a world where global warming and unrest are the new normal.
The pre-screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker - Jane Hanckel.
We will also be showcasing and celebrating 25 years of WAVE (Wearable Arts Vision in Education) with an exhibition of some of the amazing wearable art pieces that have featured at Shearwater Steiners annual wearable arts event.
There will be music from young performers, food and bar service available throughout the night.
We invite all of the Northern Rivers community to join us for the evening. There are family tickets available and young people under the age of 12 are free.
