This is a ridge walk, mostly on fire trail and closed access roads, but lots of ups and downs. There are no crazy crazy climbs but enough to make you wonder!
The prize are a couple of nice waterfalls and views across to Koonyum Range and the Wilsons River below.
We start at the carpark and use the Carrong and North Boundry trails before turning towards the ridge and crossing a couple of creeks while ticking off the 2 waterfalls. We will have some lunch at one of them with the possibility of a dip if so inclined!
We then take the Waterfall and South Boundry trails before walking back to our cars along Carrrong Road.
There is the prospect of a cold drink or ice cream at Federal before going home!
Meet at the carpark at 9.50am for 10am departure! Picture included.
