About the artist:

Hamilton Leithauser, the powerhouse voice behind The Walkmen, is back with This Side of the Island, his boldest solo album yet. Co-produced by Hamilton, his wife Anna Stumpf and Aaron Dessner, the record swaps folk-rock for a groove-heavy, modern sound—perfect for blasting while debating the best slice at Paulie Gee’s. Whether he’s crooning at Café Carlyle or rocking festival stages, Hamilton’s signature wit, raw energy and timeless storytelling always steal the show.

He opened his first pizzeria in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2010, then opened a vintage mid-century slice shop in the same Greenpoint neighborhood as his OG establishment - as well as Philadelphia, Columbus and Chicago.
