Ride With A Ranger Bike Tour

Come ride with the New York State Park Rangers and Environmental Education staff. Learn about the history and ecology of the park. Spend time with the Rangers who patrol the park by bike, and be inspired to consider working in a beautiful outdoor setting and providing an important public service. The bike tour will begin at 10am sharp at the Fountain Bike Library, and travel around the Fountain side of the park!

This program is designed to introduce teens and young adults to a career in public service. Please note, all participants must already know how to ride. This bike tour will include a moderate incline on gravel trails, as well as some paved trails.

Borrow a bike from the SCSP Bike Library, or bring your own! Note that helmets are mandatory, and will be provided if you borrow a bike.

Get ready to hop in the saddle and enjoy the ride! We ask that you:

* Bring an official ID (government issued with photo & address). We'll hold onto it until the bikes and helmets are returned.

* Wear a helmet (yours or ours)

* Have patience

* For your comfort, wear sneakers, sun screen lotion and bring water

* Please report to the orange Bike Library container at `950 Fountain Avenue

* Refund your ticket, if your plans change. We understand, and just want others to get a chance to register if you can't make it.
