Billion Oyster Project is excited to announce that It’s My Estuary Day 2025 will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Kaiser Park!
Join us for a fun and meaningful community stewardship event! Together, we’ll celebrate and care for our local waterfront park, learn about the importance of estuaries, and discover how each of us can help protect and restore these vital natural resources.
Event Highlights include:
Shoreline Beach Cleanup – Stewardship and service learning in action.
Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) Demo – Explore underwater oyster reefs.
Seining Demo & Fish ID – A hands-on citizen science experience.
Horseshoe Crab Monitoring – Led by NYC Parks’ Stewardship team.
Science & Education Tables – Interactive displays from our amazing partners.
