Brooklyn One-Stop Shop for Volunteers (Info Session +Training)

Want to become a Safe Families volunteer so you can partner with families in NYC? Join us for an in-person info session and stay for a training to expedite your volunteer application process! You will learn about partnering with vulnerable families + have the opportunity to start your approval process. You can attend any part of the event that works best for you!

Agenda:

1. Intro/Info Session (10-10:30am)- we will provide coffee and pastries

2. Volunteer Application & Background Checks (10:30-11:30am)

3. Training (11:30am-2pm)- we will provide lunch

Please Bring:

- Names + emails of 3 references that can speak to your volunteer capacity (1 professional, 1 personal, 1 pastoral or mentor; no family)

-A list of your NY addresses since age 18 (tip: look at your Amazon account to collect these)

-SSN (just the number, you do NOT need to bring the physical card)

-Laptop or phone to fill out our online application onsite (we will have a limited number of devices that can be used, but if you are able to bring your own, it helps)
