Black VegFest festival

On Saturday August 9 2025 Black VegFest returns for its 8th annual vegan festival to "clean house!" to make sure that we discard the foods practices ideologies and ecologies that harm us human and non-human animals. A clean home is a healed home. And control over your home - the resources the food the land - is a demonstration of collaborative organizing and community control of resources and culture or self-determination.

Delight in the live performances and enlightening lectures and powerful workshops for the vegan in you. Take part in our People's Assemblies. Come through to shop mingle chill learn play and enjoy world famous vegan food products merchandise and information! The event is FREE and open to everyone all ages and demographics welcome!!

Demonstrating our committment to Black collaboration a coalition of FIVE vegan festivals have joined to bring you Black VegFest 2025: Operation Clean House. Please support Vegan SoulFest Texas VegFest Philly VegFest and A Veggie Taste Atlanta.

-ALL VISITORS: Bring your VEGAN Food or Purchase Vegan Food at Liberation Farm. Bring your Tent or Rent a Tent at Liberation Farm. Liberation Farm will help guide first-time campers through virtual camping classes.

WHO WE ARE

Black VegFest exists to advance and expand the Black-centered liberatory spaces that protect non-human animals. We provide a platform and movement space for all Black peoples to define what vegan community health and food sovereignty looks like from our perspective.
