About this Event

Saturday, June 7 + Sunday, June 8 at 6:30pm

Act 1:

KILN by Crumb to a Bird Ensemble
Performed by Joshua Henry Brelsford, Felicia Reuter and Logan Shiller

Can we ever know a person in their entirety? Or do we only ever see one angle? It's the night before the funeral of esteemed sculptor, Oliver M. Verino. In the throes of an unexpected reunion, his three children finalize their procrastinated eulogies in the soul-less walls of their childhood home. As each sibling competes with the other on the grounds of accuracy and allegiance to their father, a chaotic night ensues.

Act 2:

Late Onset
Performed by James Patrick Nelson

Late Onset is a developmental workshop of James Patrick Nelson's first solo autobiographical storytelling show, about how he became diabetic in the middle of a Shakespeare tour. This rambunctious, heartfelt saga dives into formative moments in his queer evolution, as he recalls the love affair that literally almost killed him. A bare-bones confession, with a Shakespeare-cherry on top, Late Onset is a great way to start your Pride Month - an authentic, vulnerable story full to the brim with bawdy queer joy, and at least a couple of pancakes and unicorns.

There will be a short intermission between acts.
