Yogev Shetrit is a composer and drummer who has performed with notable artists, including Chuchito Valdez, Tia Fuller, Arnie Lawrence, Paulo Morello, & Kevin Mahogany. He created his trio in 2016 and recorded his first studio album, “New Path” with them. Since then, the Yogev Shetrit Trio has performed in over 30 countries, at some of the largest festivals & venues worldwide, including The Kennedy Center in DC, Casa Del Jazz in Rome, the International Panama Jazz Festival and more.

CONGREGATION KEHILLATH ISRAEL is a traditional inclusive synagogue that actively embraces individuals, its community, and the world. An innovative and prominent voice in North American Jewish life since 1917, it is one of Brookline's oldest synagogues.
YOGEV SHETRIT is an international composer and drummer born in 1978 and earned his BA in Musicology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Shetrit has performed with notable artists, including Chuchito Valdez, Tia Fuller, Arnie Lawrence, Paulo Morello, & Kevin Mahogany. He is Shetrit is the founder and member of the famous worldwide Coolooloosh band.
A composer at heart, Shetrit created his trio in 2016 in order to play his original compositions and record his first studio album, “New Path”. Since then, the Yogev Shetrit Trio has performed in over 30 countries, at some of the largest festivals & venues worldwide, including The Kennedy Center in DC, Casa Del Jazz in Rome, the International Panama Jazz Festival and more.
In addition, Shetrit has released two studio albums and one Live album. He is currently working on his 3rd studio album, to be released later in 2024.
MOSHE ELMAKIAS is an Israeli pianist and composer. With a virtuosic personal style, he is one the most exciting pianists among the new generation of Israeli jazz musicians. While touring professionally around the world, Elmakias completed his bachelor’s degree at the Jerusalem Academy (2017) and his master’s degree at the New England Conservatory (2021). Elmakias has worked with some of the top musicians in the jazz and world music scenes, including Larry Klein, Manu Katche, Billy Hart, Dayna Stephens, and Mor Karbasi. With more than 20 albums on his discography, Elmakias lives, plays, and teaches in NYC, while performing worldwide. HE HAS recorded and released numerous albums together with the Israel-based Nigun Quartet, including a live album in 2024.
