"Starting her tight set with a warm, expletive-scattered greeting to the audience, before regaling a tale of late-night weekend revelry at a camp-based festival, populated with hipsters, music fans, ageing rockers, and "lurky turkeys" The set goes down well with the audience at this cabaret style night, and explores the gender divide, with themes relatable to festival goers. This is a good opener to the music which followed" Twisted Sista shares Rik passion in using comedy to shine a light on the absurdity of human behaviour and nature to challenge the status quo, bringing a unique punk style to her delivery and craft.
Burt Bacharackhams was conceived on fag packet at the back of Rackhams in Brum. Burt lives in a halfway house straddling two dimensions with alternate versions of himself. Using the combined powers of video and limited talent. Burt enjoys singing his songs of heartbreak and loss.
Combining quirky off beat musical talent and an insanely unique comedy sketch. Guaranteeing to leave audience members all aglow with amusement and a did that really happen feeling. Burt Bacharackhams could easily be the eccentric neighbour of Richie and Eddie and maybe even a short term house mate of the young ones back in the 80s.

GAMBOWL, noun, to describe the action of rolling forwards on the ground. Also referred to as a 'forward roll'. EYYAAAR! For years Shaun Gambowl Walsh was a front man without a band, then one day, on a cold dark Thursday evening, he was given one. The voice of not just a generation, but two generations. The new face of rock and roll! GET THOSE SHOES IN THE AIR! Psychedelic anthems, bangers, and ballads. Tunes for days.
Shaun, born and raised in Birmingham by his father (a left Adidas Samba) and mother (a right Adidas gazelle). In the early 2000s Shaun was kicked out and barred from every indie/alternative club in Birmingham, so like Bart Simpson, he was forced to make his own clubs and became king of Birmingham's alternative nightlife. Shaun became somewhat of a cult hero and once he had completed the club scene he wondered aimlessly. Long time collaborator of Walsh, Dave Timms, had always considered Shaun a front man without a band, so one day he made him one. What started off as Shaun and Dave doing the open mic circuit, confusing and wowing crowds (sometimes up to 4 people would come to open mic), the pair would tell audiences off for enjoying what they were seeing and mastered making the audience feel a bit uneasy but they were also hooked. Now a 7 piece psychedelic orchestra, including Professor Scott Theket on the ironing board, Shaun Gambowl Walsh delivers words while the band delivers a backdrop for the mind to go off for a wonder.
This ensemble epitomise anti establishment and are the ultimate anti hero band of talent and charisma, they would not be out of place down at the Kabab and Calculator. With songs about alien ex girlfriends, buffets, babies being rudely bought to the sesh. Put your shoes in the air, walk like a crab, grab a pineapple and av it!
