FREE - See a Raku Firing at Jinney Ring, B60 4BU

The potters from The Pottery at the Jinney Ring are doing a raku firing in our gardens Jinney Ring Craft Centre on Saturday, 2nd August, 11am to 3pm, B60 4BU [rescheduled due to weather warnings for the original date!]

Raku is a Japanese firing technique that produces a beautiful and unusual surface effect. It's fascinating to watch and doesn't happen very often here.

This is an informal event where you can see our potters in action - there is no charge. But why not treat yourself to a cuppa and some cake or some lunch before/after/during watching the experts at work.
